Epilator advice for Father Christmas

Hi

I am hoping someone can give me some advice on Epilators...either best one to buy or ones to avoid;)

I have never used one before, so want one as pain free as possible:p I have asked Father Christmas for one this year, he will be able to go to around £40-£50ish.

Thank You in Advance
Mel xx

Tell father christmas not to bring you such a dreadful instrument of torture:eek: I bought one, a good one with an ice 'soothing' attachment. I gave it away...

  • Pain free and epilators simply don't go together Mel. My advice is don't do it!!! It is vile and horribly painful and whilst the results are fantastic I only force myself to use it to do my bikini line when we go on holiday (and I cry every time).

Actually there is a pain free epilator its the

    Phillips Satinperfect

Ok so maybe not one hundred percent pain free, its so gentle I can even do my under arms (and everyone knows how painful they are to do )

I have used ( and still do) three epilators and this is by and far the best (painwise) and the shaving and trim heads are a great assets
  • Hi

I have been using epilators for over 10 years and love them. It is painful at first however opt for one with different speed settings, as for the ice version you can do that yourself just rub ice cubes wrapped in a towel etc.. first as all you want to do is numb the area. The one below is the one i currently use and its half price at the moment

I do like that one myself. Funny enough the instructions imply its only for areas like legs but I use it everywhere bar the face.

I've never used one myself, but have recently thought about getting one, I don't have the same amount of money to spend as I'm a poor jobless graduate lol! however, my mum has used them for as long as I know and she gets on with them fine! :)

Its worth looking on Ebay. So many people buy them and cant get on with them. A wipe over with rubbing alcohol and as good as new
