I was hoping to bake macarons this week with the kids, but the recipe calls for almond meal - which I can't find locally! I've looked online but can't see anything in this country - any ideas?
Thanks!!

yep it is ground almonds, just found this on wikipedia:
Almond meal, almond flour or ground almond is made from ground sweet almonds. Almond flour is usually made with blanched almonds (no skin), whereas almond meal can be made both with whole or blanched almonds. The consistency is more like corn meal than wheat flour.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00
