I'm not sure about this. All you have to do is install your applications on the USB drive or copy and paste your program folders across and surely you have the same thing without having to pay for U3? I have all my favourite programs installed on a memory stick and I don't need any special software to do this. I just simply copied and pasted folders on my home PC across and then work from the USB key at work.
Am I misunderstanding what U3 delivers?
If so I apologise.
Also Portable firefox and thunderbird have been around for a while now and there are a few more useful apps on that site designed for this purpose (although I just use the full programs, now that the price of memory is so low).0
