Hi guys
I have been rather absent for the past couple of months. Getting ready for Christmas has been taking my time - been busy watching/reading the OS Organised for Christmas and Challenge: Handmade 2010 xmas andNew Thrifty Gifty - Organised for Christmas and all occasions 2010- Santas Challenges boards along with the Grabbit board – trying to make Christmas the best I can for my kids, as cheap as I can!
Anyway – Back at the end of October Hubby and I sent the keys back to HSBC along with a letter, which you lovely people on here helped me word. Letter was delivered on 29 Oct to HSBC, and they have already notified the OR that they have repossessed the house!!!!! There is a note in the window (which has been there about 2 weeks) and 2 for sale boards up in the garden. But we have had no correspondence from either HSBC or the OR notifying us officially that the house has been repossessed, which leads me to my little problem of getting EON and the Council to take us off the bills!!!!
I have emailed the OR’s office to ask for a copy of the letter they have received from HSBC so I can use it as proof, but still waiting to hear if they will do that. Surely they need to give me something in black and white to say that we no longer own the property????
Anyway – despite filling in the ED paperwork we have not heard anything except we are now paying an IPA until December 2013 – so just 3 months 2 weeks and 1 day until we officially discharged.
I would just like to thank again everyone who has helped both my husband and myself this year and kept us sane thru the process.
Thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxxx :kisses:

Thanks!!! We look more or less like we have been here years! A few boxes still to be unpacked but they only have dvds/cds in them and frankly we aren't missing them (might have to see what one of those sites that buy them off you will give us!! Hubby won't even know some are missing lol)
We need to buy our daughters propper wardrobes in the New Year - they had built in ones before but apart from that we are in, cosy and comfy.
The OS/Thrifty boards are fab and I have managed to make some great presents for friends, family and the girl's teachers. Started to make a biscuit Xmas Tree today but the bicuits were terrible lol. Dogs enjoyed the spoils and I will have another go tomorrow. :rotfl:Donna

Hi diddly74,
I am pleased to hear you are managing to sort things out.
I just wanted to try and offer a bit of help with the E.ON situation, if I can.
E.ON will just need proof of the bankruptcy or repossession of the house, I understand you have already asked for some paper work, once we have received this the E.ON account will be closed to that date.
We do have a department that deal with these issues, you can use the email address in my profile page if you would like me to provide any more details for you.
I hope this is sorted asap for you.

I have a copy of the letter from Eversheds (who are acting for HSBC) to the OR that states HSBC intend to realise the security in the property and that the property has been repossessed and is on the market. But the letter only mentions a Bankruptcy restriction on me not my husband (we both went BR on the same day)Donna
