Payday Express Repayments

I have a repayment plan set up with them to clear my outstanding loan. I pay them £100 a month and I am fine with this.

Recently I have had pneumonia and have been unable to do much in the last week or so, so the money was not there when they usually collect it. The money is there now, but still has not been taken.

All last week they have been calling my work and my mobile, and now have posted a 'postcard' stating an agent will call. Is that allowed, as that shows to the postie that I am in debt and I thought that was not allowed...

I have no problem paying them back, but I do not like the way I am treated if I miss payment. I know I should have contacted them, but with pneumonia, my main concern was getting better. I feel the underhand tactics of constant calling my work and sending postcards is very unfair. Anyone else had trouble with this company?
If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!

Why don't you just contact them by phone now and let them know your circumstances. Hopefully that will sort it out, but if you continue to pay the agreed amount without fail and yet the calls etc persist, you can ask them to deal with you in writing only.

The problem is you already failed to pay back what you owed and fair enough you weren't well, but you have broken the agreement again, so is it any wonder they are trying all ways to contact you as you haven't contacted them.

Basically you aren't helping yourself much and seem to want to have your cake and eat it and then have someone clear up after you as well.

The postie knowing about your debt is the least of your worries, if you don't take charge of the situation.

Did you answer the phone when they called last week at all?

I don't think postmen have the time, especially this time of year, to read what they're putting through the letterbox.

From the lender's point of view they are trying to find some way to contact someone who has missed a payment, doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

PDE ignore any letters u send them. i told them id only deal with them by letter so they passed me onto a DCA shouting the same tosh. write to them asking them to stop the harrassment, although beware they'l probs ignore it.... but u could take it further...

the postcard is to scare u into paying. they wont send anyone round.
