Hi guys,
I find the taste of 'blue top' milk from Tesco (and I think Sainsburys too) has changed in recent months.
It tastes horrible*. I now do my weekly shop and then have to pop into my local co-op as their 'blue top' milk tastes better.
Is it just me? Putting this question to 'blue top' milk drinkers as the semi skimmed 'green top' folks milk taste horible anyway
so you guys won't know what I am on about.

Update
* If I remember correctly, they also have new packaging stating something along the lines of "less than 4% fat" in a big font.

What is blue-top, please? I get mine from the milkman where semi is red, and skimmed is blue, and my fave 1% is orange.0 -
your milkmen are strange
Blue top is full fat, green is semi and red is skimmed...I think (if memory from childhood serves me correctly) that milkies use silver for full fat though.

Hi Annie,
Regular, whole milk. In Tesco, sainsburys and co-op it comes with a blue coloured top.
Question refers to this milk bought from Tesco and Sainsburys.:beer:0 -
Can't agree or disagree as we get Cravendale as it keeps longer! BUT cows food does change when it gets cold and this can affect taste of milk.

I use to like Cravendale for the long-lasting ability.
I don't but it anymore as I believe more 'processing' is involved to get it to do that.
Less processed the better.:beer:0
