Dubious to say the least...

I had a phone call about 20 minutes ago informing me that I'd won a holiday worth £3000 to the Costa Del Sol. Now, this is all well and good, but I've generally avoided competitions where the prize is a holiday abroad, as we've decided that we won't be taking our little boy overseas until he's at least a few years old. I told him to offer the prize to someone else.

So, is there any way of checking which competitions you've entered? He claimed I entered it on the 29th November, so it sounded feasible that it was genuine, but somewhere I smell a rat here. I seriously doubt that I entered it.

Has anyone else received a phone call like this?

Yes! Thanks redbull08. It WAS Club La Costa that called me. Having read the further posts on that thread, I'm so glad I turned it down. Bit annoying though, seeing as I've only won two prizes so far and had to turn them both down!
