  • Is Ireland fixed? Yes, as "Indebted for the rest of its natural life" fixed with an economy still on its knees going nowhere fast.

    That kind of fixed.

  • Was talking to an Irish customer today. 40 miles north of Cork. I have nown him for years. It ain`t pretty out there that`s for sure. the property crash is breath taking. If I mentioned figures that he is talking about no one would believe me. Put another way, the 70% club would be rubbing their hands with delight. Again from a Dublin customer , 50% drops are not that uncommon.

    However, being tied into the single exchange rate, there is no 0.5% band aid coming that way soon.
