Sorry if this is in the wrong section

I am placing a order with Amazon and have chosen to pay the 2-3 days delivery option but, it is showing the delivery date as 'arriving before 24th Dec' surely this seems rather slow? Any opinions please?

i would guess they are just covering themselves due to the weather. I'm waiting on a delivery that was due on the 3rd according to their tracker but understandably its not here yet and as it has started snowing again i guess it wont be here today.

No it's none of those things. In December Amazon mark all orders with "arriving before 24th Dec" or "Arriving after Dec 25th", to tell you whether it will come before or after Christmas, purely for information terms.

Thanks, yes I did have 1 item that was going to be delivered after 25th! So I may as well opt for free delivery and save myself some money.

I always use free delivery from Amazon, RM seem to be very good here with that, arrives super quick, once some digital kitchen scales arrived the next day, sent 2nd class!

My recent order had a variety of delivery dates - it seemed that the ones sent out by Amazon were actual dates, while those from a third part company were of the 'up to the 24th' variety. I supposed that Amazon didn't have access to the third party delivery schedules so couldn't be more precise. One of my third party items arrived within two days.
