I agree, I had to borrow my daughter's proper VISA Debit card to order Dave the Monkey, would have thought that a bit store like M&S would take Electron.

I agree too - I used OH credit card.

I find it odd how that accept Electron instore, but not online!!! Debenhams are the same!

It goes on my list of 'heck I can't buy from there, dammnit' list.
Another one is Tesco Direct.

I might have to invest in one of those prepaid mastercards and in the meantime beg someone to let me use their card before it's OOS.

Why can't I use Solo or Electron to pay online or by phone?

Due to technical difficulties, we can't process Solo and Electron online or over the phone, though we do accept these cards in our stores.

Paid with my Electron card seems to have worked.

How did you manage to pay with an Electron card, the site clearly says that they don't accept them? :think:
