Hi there everybody, i'm new here, decided to register after reading lots of posts and realising i'm not alone,
i'll go into depth about my debts later on, but the major problem i have at the moment is a loan i took out 3 years ago, the loan was with ge money who after hundreds of phone calls to myself gave up and sold the debt to asset link who swiftly applied to the courts for payment, the court told me to pay the debt in full immediately, to which i resent my income and expenditure forms explaining that i couldn't afford to pay the full 6 thousand in one go and put forward an amount i could afford, all this was with advice from payplan, received another letter 2 weeks ago again demanding that i pay the full amount, today received another letter today saying asset ling have applied for and were successful in getting a charging order on my house.
Why won't this judge realise i do not have 6 thousand pound to pay the debt, anyone else had problems with ccj,s
or is this normal, i'm just so sick with worry, don't know what to do next.

did you reply to the court summons and attend to give your explanations?
perhaps you could be more explicit ?0 -
its fairly normal that creditors will get charging orders, you should have opportunity to go to a hearing before the final order is made.
a judge has to balance two positions, yours and the creditors yours is you cant pay at the moment and the creditors is they are entitled to their money and so they will secure the money on your home, so either its paid back by installments or when you sell they get the money plus interest.
check your paperwork and make sure all procedures have been followed, eg if you made an offer of payment the reply says something like "your offer has been rejected" rather than "you have not made an offer"
hope you get it sortedReady to Go Go!0
