They had loads of these reduced to 90p in my local tesco express the other night! I now have about 4 of them in my freezer!

If you are going to cut it up for filling vol au vents, for example, or making small nibbles, then just go for Tesco's Value Smoked Salmon offcuts. 120grams for 87pence, every day every week - so no need to wait for special offers!

what is the taste like? I bought some cheap smoked salmon from Sainsbury's and it tasted slighly like soap. Please let me know, is Morrison's any good or tesco's?

M&S do it half price at £6.49 for 400g. Dont know if offer is still on now - I bought some on wednesday.

M&S one is in a completely clear pack so you can see the salmon is nice quality.

We got some tesco smoked salmon last year at christmas and it was horrid - although might be better this year.

We have already opened a pack of the M&S one this year and its safe to say its worth the extra money as it is really good quality.:T

In the Daily Mail on Thursday 16th Dec the winner for taste was the Oceansea Norwegian smoked salmon at £2.19 for 200gm on sale at Lidl - it scored 10/10! :beer:
I will get mine there when my car is no longer snowed in.
