Hello and thanks in advance.
Does anyone have one - I bought Asda's much cheaper version and found it completely useless. Does anyone know if this version works - its supposed to be the most economical type of hair removal????

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. i have one - i like it! don't know if it really removes leg hair at 1mm like it says on adverts, but it's quick and easy and mine is a few years old so the new one may be even better. (i did only decide to buy it when it was 50% off in argos - they do seem to do regular deals).:happyhear0

I've seen these advertised, but the look so painful! It's always put me off. Is it so bad? From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

I have one and I adore it. I only do my armpits + legs. It really does work! I know some girls who do their bikini line with it...NO TY. It is painful when you first start, but after the first time it's fine, not painful at all.
I usually do it every 2-3 weeks on my legs and a little longer on my armpits

about as bad as waxing... so for me, not so bad.... but for others... maybe quite painful!:happyhear0

I have one and wouldn't say I adore it like Kat does hers, however, they are really good at removing hairs without the mess of home waxing. It is painful, but for those of us who are a little more hairy than others it's worth it.
Just one small negative comment. I have had my Braun for a few years and the 'rotators' (??) aren't coming together as close as they used to, so don't pull out the hairs at first go.
I use it on my bikini but wouldn't go near my armpits!£400+ in my £2 coin tablet fund0 -
I have one. I think waxing is a zillion times less painful! It is something you can get used to but as you have to drag it over your legs at a somewhat slower pace, it does sting/hurt more. I find it does take hairs off my legs fine but too painful to imagine attempting the bikini area and I tried my under arms, it ripped my skin and left every hair intact. Bled on and off for hours after and didn't get used to that after a few months of trying.
You do need to exfoliate though and IME for some reason much more then if you were to wax as ingrowing hairs are very common and can scar.0
