  • I got my DD a build-a-bear complete with three different outfits and a sleeping bag of ebay. Thought that I was very clever.....however...DD was not the slightest bit interested in said bear and it has remained on her shelf ever since. The whole idea of a Build-a-Bear is that the child gets to build it herself. Laura and Patchy, the two bears she did build herself with Christmas and Birthday money are greatly loved and very much played with. Like previous posters have said save your money now and make a day at a Builder-Bear Factory after Christmas and let your child enjoy the whole experience for themselves.
  • i agree with the above, the whole point is that they build it, they kiss the heart they put inside, they choose the name for the birth certificate, my DD has a few BaB animals, we have had to ease back this year on the clothes etc etc as the BaB stuff is not worth more than her wardrobe , no seriously it is

I can't even get site to load at all!

I've had build a bears off ebay - had one singing 'Happy Birthday' for son's 18th!
Also got a miowing black and white cat like ours - and I bought a christmas dress for it!
