Should I water my christmas tree?

Hello

For the last 9 years I've had an artifical one but this year I've bought a real one.

I've got it fitted into a heavy base which looks like a pot and I've got this feeling the space is for watering it but I'm not sure?

Thanks
Terri

    Short answer is yes .
But you should have cut a couple of inches off the trunk and stood it in a bucket of water over night ,

My tree won't even be bought for another 7-10 days , central heating fully on will require topping up that water 'pot' every day.

It will drink more in the first few days of watering. I've got mine up. £55.00!!! going to get my moneys worth by putting it up for as long as possible.

Yes, as already stated ideally you should cut at least an inch off the bottom and leave in a bucket over night to allow the branches to drop.

Keep away from radiators and top up every day.

We're going to get ours on Thursday evening can't wait, love coming down in a morning to the smell of the Christmas tree.
