Cheap web-based business needed

Options
I am looking to make a few extra quid from a website idea I have thought of, but as I only have 2 pennies to rub together the cost needs to be as close to the floor as possible. Im looking for either someone to build it or a DIY format.

Please help!!

    have you tried rentacoder.com?
  • You could go to PC World and get the Mr Site Takeaway website from about £30 up to £150. It is a very simple, quite limited, but workable website. Depending on your specific idea it might not be suitable but it would give you hosting and basic site facilities to kick start a web business. You might use it for test trading so that you have a decent idea of what you would ask a website designer to deliver. It may even suit your actual needs.

I have seen several people criticise Mr Site in MSE, so it would actually be reasonable to have a look in some other thread for those criticisms.

If you have access to MS office or Word it is quite easy to make a web page, depends really on the complexity of the site that you require. I have used Dreamweaver in the past and found the experience really easy so may be worth looking around for a second hand copy.

Hope it works out for you as it would be a shame not to put your ideas into action

Because we're working with Google & BT we're able to offer you a free website for 2 years, after that you'll only have to pay a few pounds to renew your domain name for a further 2 years - you're not tied in to a contract and we won't put ads on your site without your permission.
