Hi Guys,
I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some help. I'm looking to buy a 42" Plasma or LCD TV for my husband for Christmas, and as MSEers are the best at finding bargains I need your help!!!
I'd really appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of any good deals that are on at the moment.
Thanks in advance!!

i don't know of any offers, but check out kelkoo or pricerunner for price comparisons of most of the major retaillers (if you want to earn money for searching, pm me and i could refer you to topcashback - sorry mods if this isn't allowed)0

One general tip for buying TV's - go to John Lewis. Free 5 year guarantee with all their TVs and they will price match with any bricks and mortar store (i.e not internet only stores). Great after sales service too."Whatever happened to string?"0

It might be useful if you put your budget on here, as I suspect there are many mse'rs who are tv enthusiasts (me included!) who will find you a good deal at your price point. HTH.
Personally, I would always go for LCD above plasma, but that's a personal point of view!! lolBe an amateur! Professionals built the Titanic, amateurs built the Ark!!
Be sure of always hitting your target.....
Shoot first, and whatever you hit, call the target0 -
Cheers for all the tips guys! TBH I don't have a clue about what being HD ready means! I'm looking to spend about 1000 to 1200 pounds, but the bigger bargain the better!
Also, whats the difference between LCD and plasma? I thought they were about the same!!
I'm so useless when it comes to things like this!!!:j30/7/10:j
