What form are they in (normal paper, glossy paper, photo paper ?)
According to the Truprint site the posters are "on top-quality photo paper".
  • Hi everyone - first post for me!

Just to let everyone know about photobox.co.uk - I've started using them this year on a recommendation from a friend and they've been great. You get
    - 30 free prints when you sign up
    - regular monthly offers (free postage in november, a third off photo books at the moment etc)
    - free online storage space for your snaps.

A warning for pixmania.com as well - they are cheap, and the prints were good, but I had trouble with Christmas delivery last year. They say they have recruited more staff this time, but personally I won't be using them again.
  • hi,
can anyone tell me if I can put a composite image through as a poster - ie a photoshop manipulated images as a jpeg- rather than one image? i know it sounds thick but i am just checking. thanks
  • Hey there money savers,

I followed Martins instructions to the letter, put the 'MSE' code in, and yes, it did discount the poster, but they only gave me 20 free prints, there is no mention anywhere of the 40 free offer, i got the middle size poster, and 40 prints, and it came to just over 7 and a half quid. Pictures are from Australia though, been meaning to get them done since January and the Missus was chewing me ear off, so i bought them anyway.

:T The more money i save, the quicker i can buy my Audi

  • Just a quick note on trying to sign up a second account. Have you tried a second browser, that has not been linked to the snapfish site before? because of cookies, the browser may be holding the details that you have logged in before. I would use another browser and make sure you clear the cookies. Firefox is also said to be generally less of a security risk for internet fraud so it may be a good time to try it out.

Thankyou for this Martin, as truprint sent me an email, offering half price 10x15 poster, but when I tried to input the coupon code they gave me, it didnt work, so this offer, is actually better, due to all the size posters half price.

Ordered 12x18 size, few more xmas pressies sorted, many thanks :)

The truprint email that I received as an existing customer expired on 27th October and was for all poster sizes, so same offer but finished a week ago. Thanks to Martin for pointing this out. I had missed the 27th cut off and was a bit miffed so this offer saved me a few bob.

Has anyone actually ordered any poster prints from Truprint, or Kodak?
What form are they in (normal paper, glossy paper, photo paper ?)
    and how good are they

I recieved mine today and they are very good quality. Obviously this does depend on the quality of the image you supply them with. I ordered three 20"x30" and my photo images were around 4 meg each from Canon Ixus500. They are printed on good quality photo paper with a gloss finish.

Just for info prints are available on canvas 16"x20" and 20"x24" with £20 off using the code (PM me if interested).

    Cheers

Just got my poster this morning and its great....i was a bit worried as it said on the site that my photo resolution was too low...but i went for it anyway.....the original photo was taken about 6 years ago on a 1 megapixel camera....and the quality of the poster...20 x 30 ....is excellent......thanks very much Martin.....
