Try this link: http://www.hsh.com/calc-amort.html
It's American but the idea is the same (just replace dollars with pounds).:rotfl:  _party_ :grouphug: Laughing all the way...:EasterBun :kisses3:0 -

anybody know of a calculator available in an Excel spreadsheet. I want to analyse quite a lot of figures to see how much we can afford to pay for a new house. I usually use thisismoney which is a good one but it's a pain to keep typing in figure and then transferring to excel.
I'd also like to know if there is something that will help me work out whether it would be better to change to a better rate (taking into account redemption penalties etc.)

Go into excel...
right click on "sheet1" tab at the bottom of screen...
"insert"
"spreadsheet solutions" tab...
"loan amortization"
then Bob's your lobster.
just read pounds instead of dollars.0 -
Go see a mortgage broker and they'll do the work for you!0
