Hi there,
I have loads of CD's which ive decided to sell, and was going to use Music Magpie. Has anyone used them before? Are they reliable?
Are there any other websites that buy cds from you which are better?

I've used Music Magpie twice now with no problems at all. I opted for the courier uplift though as I didn't want to just post my stuff to them with no tracking. But you do need to trade 100+ items for this option.
I was really worried especially the first time that they would start finding fault with items and pay me less than first offered but I got the full amount both times. The cheques arrived after about three weeks.
I didn't trade all the cds that I originally wanted to because of the ridiculously low prices offered for some items however so you need to be quite selective. They only offer 30p for things like chart cds and some they won't even accept. But I had lots of folk, alt country and blues and the prices were much better for those. I got about £1.50 for most but even up to £3 for a few.0 -
They were fine on my 4 large transactions, but be aware that the max is going to be £3 so unless you are desperate for the cash it may be worth putting items that are valued higher on play or amazon and waiting. I subsequently sold two cd's that they would have given me £3 for over £22 each.0

I've used Magpie over 10 times now without any problems. Normally with smaller orders because I can't wait for a courier to come. Best place to get rid of "worthless" CDs (you know the ones which sell for pennies on Amazon, where for the part-time seller won't make money on).0
