Do you have any young children at the meal? Just thought that if you do you might want to do a separate table for them - or think what might happen if they knock something over. I have young children so will be planning something very simple.Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. fairy lights down the middle of the table would look nice as well, and if you've got chairs with a slatted back you could hang something from there. You can get nice purple goblets to go with your chargers. I don't have a seperate table for the kids just don't put them near naked flame or give them a crystal glass. get any kids a plastic goblet to match the adults glass ones.0

silver and purple baubles made into candle rings poundland have some lovely small size baubles that would do the job perfect.
dead easy to do with a small ring of dry oasis and some small bits of wire doubled over to attach the bauble to the oasis.
If you can get your hands on the mini baubles make them into wine glass charms.0
