as all of our transfers have been authorised and stock taken off shop floor

dont shoot the messenger, that was the stock level I was given when I rang up at 4pm to see if any in stock near me, and why would I remember staples system doesnt update till end of day. Didn't realise it was common knowledge.

This was posted last week in the Cheap VOIP thread which is most likely where the bulk purchaser spotted it.

In case there are any Mac users aching to buy one - don't concern yourself. It looks as if the camera's output isn't vanilla MP4 so it doesn't appear possible to use this in conjunction with a Mac - though I keep trying! ;)

Cheers will do, but I'm also trying VLC as it *should* work but is resisting all attempts so far. Linksys themselves aren't much help as the camera is a "second level support" item and I can't get through to 2nd level.

Why are you wasting peoples time if you have the stock on the way to you, you have only started this thread to boast about what you have managed to get and get peoples backs up.

Why did you not post this on the original thread instead of starting a new one?

Jake - have you managed to get staples to transfer stock to other branches? I have a couple of items reserved in Croydon which I cant manage to pick up - would be far easier to get it transferred - if they'll do this
  • Hmmmmm.....................well, there was 1 in Lincoln left, so I took that one today, thanks to those who posted stock listings.

It actually took them 15 mins to find it, and it was in a cupboard somewhere so if you have a store near to you please try going in, DONT BELIEVE THE STOCK SYSTEM is my advice!

    lol

Yeah they should do, They dont like transferring out of region tho, but a quick call to head office sorts that out, How mcuh distance is it from the croydon to the store you want em ?

Don't have a Mac myself, so I can't do any 'on the ground' testing.
Though I'm surprised that it didn't work with MPlayer.

    This is an alternative; http://www.equinux.com/us/products/onair/index.html

Still, I would double-check every other possibility before purchase.

Here's another incarnation of MPlayer; http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/21529&vid=187989
