Mince and onion pie

Does anyone have areally nice recipie for the above as my oh is such a fussy eater but loves mince and onion pies from greggs.....

I fry the mince with chopped onion and sometimes include grated carrot and swede as well, add an oxo cube then when all lovelly and brown add some bisto powder about 2 teaspoons in about an inch of water and quickly stir it in well so the whole lot thickens up. Then use that to make the pie. Freezes well too !

TBH ..by the time you have bought the ingredients prepared and cooked it ..it is cheaper to get the yummy pies from Greggs!!!
