the deed was done!!

Husband was made bankrupt yesterday by HMRC as you may have seen by my previous posts they were relentless to the end.Not a very good weekend trying to keep going but do not know what to expect .How long is it before OR contacts him the court said 2 weeks and when is bank account frozen. Trying to look at it as afresh start but in our 60's its difficult !

    Sorry to hear your news. I've heard other people say the same about hmrc.

    The or should be in contact within a couple of days. They'll just ask some. Basic questions - name, address etc. Depending on complexity of your situation they will arrange a phone or face to face interview.

    Don't worry too much about it. They just want to find out the background to your situation. It helps to be well prepared I found.
