Sibley here on my work laptop.

Yes, I sm in Malaysia this week. Trust me, I wouldn't be looking at Malaysian newspapers if I wasn't.:)

It's actually quite an insight that website isn't it?

Foreign investors seem happy with a lot smaller returns that UK landlords.

There will never really be a shortage of buyers in UK.

If its so great you turd then why not put your money where your big mouth is? Go on i dare you

It does make you realize that the BTL market has been hardly effected by the tightening up of credit by our banks.

    Quite the opposite.

It makes you realise just how badly the BTL market has been affected when adverts have to be placed in Malaysia.

BTL isn't the game to be in.

20% management fees and a £1,000 per annum ground rent. Far easier way of making money.

Appears to be a lack of service charges in the investment model.

Thank goodness adverts like this were outlawed in the UK some years ago.

I see HPC is now admitting that Sibley was right.

I reckon Realist Bear is heading for a ban over there.
He's put his hands up and admitted defeat. They won't let him keep mentioning things like 'The crash come and went'

I hope he comes over here. The new look RB doesn't sound a bad fella.

Sibley, you live in a Bangkok shanty town. Don't you think you'd be much better off trying to get out of the shanty town rather than worrying about the UK BTL market?

Now Gloomy is actually one of the nasties.

A loser. Probably lives in a tunnel under Manchester airport with Swampy. Will never own a house and is credit blacklisted for not paying Kays cataloge.

I'm in Malaysia this week. I was quite shocked to see company's offering investment in the UK housing market.

They've been doing so for a long time.
At least since 2007 when I moved there

I heard a rumour than gloomy had also fallen foul of the mods over there, if it's true he can be an HPC reject too.

    Thank you.

I just laughed so much reading that I have gut rot. Now that really would make my day.

Gloomy banned from his beloved HPC. Having to join the rejects?:rotfl:

Gloomy. Lets break bread. You with us or not?

I reckon we should have a Pipes of Peace style Christmas amnesty on the 24th. Bulls and Bears reunite.

Come on. We've spent all year digging each other out over manky house prices. We can start again 1st Jan 2011. :)

Interesting point though - I wonder how wise it is to invest in UK property at the moment - since UK citizens are not doing so, seems slightly desperate to start getting others to do so.

I read this weekend that people buying BTL was at a 2 year high at the moment.
