Help needed with Tesco Grocery online order

I wondered if there are any Tesco shopping experts who might be able to help me solve an issue with an order.

Started putting an order through yesterday, internet connection was so slow timed out and lost delivery slot. Started again this morning, all day time slots are now gone so have booked ridiculously late time as all thats left (it's Christmas order).

Put through some items to hold a time slot and checkout out. Have just spent ages adding huge amount of items into basket thinking I could add these to the existing order as per other grocery website used before. However, this does not appear to be the case!! Sorry, this is a really long winded way of asking if there is any way to add the saved contents of a basket to an existing order??

Grateful for any help, even if just to say no it's not possible. Spent 40 mins on hold to Tesco a little earlier then realised they've probably alll gone home

if you log in then go to 'my orders' at the top of the page, it should bring up your next orders due for delivery with options to change order/carry on shopping etc., you can then go & add what else you need but you must remember to fully check out again afterwards. i don't think there's any way to add items that you've already picked, you need to 'carry on shopping' & do it that way.
