Does anyone have any ideas how to rescue an over-waterd down jelly? I do not have any more jelly powder etc in the house so adding more is not an option and nor isgoing to the shops and buying more as am home in rain looking after 4 under sevens and a baby and do not drive! It was going to be their pudding at lunchtime BUT instructions said add 1 pint of water and as my meausurung jug was dirty I added 550cl using a clean baby bottle to measure, thinking that was about a pint. Only after it failed to set did I remember that actually 450cl ish was a pint!
To make matters worse I added a tin of drained fruit cocktail. Have put it in fridge in desperate attempt to set it but still all runny (and warm).. Is there anything I can do to rescue it or use it in some other way, or will whole lot have to go in the bin??
Thank you!!!

I have absolutely no idea whether this would help, but have you got freezer space for it?
It would at least chill it.
Or add cake crumbs?
Call it an exciting jelly drink?0 -
Crumble up some biscuits/a weetabix/cereal, stir in, add a bit of custard on top. If you have cream, ok , if not anything sprinkled on top, grated choc, hundreds and thousands and you have a makeshift trifle!
