I am a tiny wee bit unsure of the answer to this one-yep we call it Hogmanay but we always have someone first footing in our house at the bells to see in the new year??but then thats more a custom as a celebration??

I too am unsure of the correct answer. Hogmanay is New Years Eve but first footing could be classed as celebrating the new year. Very ambiguous.
