Hi,
IPOD touch 8GB is £189 at tesco direct but has 2500 tesco points
You get 378 points for spending £189 so in total you get 2878 points which is £88 is you use 3 for 1 when exchanging points so net cost is £101 and they are giving away free £25 speakers with the deal.

Rather a misleading headline ??0 -

showing at £175 to me, do you have a link, I think yours maybe wrong as a huge price drop ! (see below)Store Price Tesco Direct saves you
Tesco £175.00
Argos £189.00 £14.00
Asda £175.00 Matching
Comet £179.00 £4.00
Currys £189.00 £14.00
PC World £189.00 £14.000 -
its the points that make it that price, keeps getting posted on here and hotukdeals. good if you want the points0

Even better. It has now been reduced to £175 with 2500 extra clubcard points and free speaker.
The saving comes when they send you the clubcard points. 2500 is worth £25 in clubcard vouchers which you can use in the clubcard to exchange for £75 in vouchers to spend at restuarants, on holidays etc.0 -
Don't get me wrong, it's great if you use the points but there's no way the heading should have included the 'value' of the points in deals and knocked it off the actual price. Even the stalwarts over on paidtoshop recognise that in the vast majority of cases the deals are actually worth nowhere near 4x let alone noe they are 3x etc.
Like I said, for a Tesco points collector who actually is looking for an iPod a great deal. But £101? nah...0 -
Even better still, I have a £10 off £50 spend on Apple ipods coupon that came with my clubcard vouchers, not sure if everyone got that...0

Can you share it or is it one that you can only use once?
Thanks:)Credit Card 1 - £2900, credit card 2 - £6020 (0%).
Mortgage £84000 - 17 years left without overpayments.
Got to get organised, first credit card 1 £0/£29000 -
I bought an 8gb iPod touch at HMV at a UK airport departure lounge today. Cost £160.85 but giving away £25 iTune voucher and £20 HMV voucher with it too. So effectively £45 off cost. Deal only lasts until 5th Dec tho.
You can shop and collect on your return to UK if prefer not to take away with you.`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.0 -
