I bougth an instant bowl of breakfast cornmeal from tesco from the ethnic type aisle and loved it. As it was about 70p for one serving thought I would have a bash myself but have been very unsuccesful!
I had some polenta in cupboard which i thought was the same as cornmeal but it turned out hideous. It may be thouigh that what i used was polenta flour as it was very much a flour type consistency. I tried mixing it with water and milk/water and heating it but it just tasted like wet flour!! if anyone knows how I can do it I would be grateful

Hi
Do you have fine or coarse cornmeal/polenta? I prefer coarse for making porridge.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
