O2 with carphone warehouse

Both my daughter and myself have mobile phones with O2 via CPW. Both phones are Samsungs(different models) She had to return hers for repair at CPW Forestside. Unfortunately she lost some phone contacts as new software was installed even though they were on her SIM. The original fault re-emerged 17 HRS after the repair (it switches itself off periodically and may take hours or worse to get back on) and CPW say that they will only consider replacing her phone with another make/model once it has been repaired 3 TIMES and then breaks down a 4TH time. This seems ridiculous to me. Obviously if a phone breaks down 4 TIMES it is to my mind not fit for purpose. We have both been with CPW for several years.

Just wondering if anyone else on the Forum has had experience of this and if so what was the end result?

    We are waiting for the replacement (They gave us a choice of 3 different handsets) they also lent a handset when the phone was away on the 3 previous occasions .- if I asked. It appears the models offered are of slightly higher value than my daughter's existing phone.
