Does anyone know of a reliable online retailer that sells tickets for music events that have sold out, a sort of web ticket tout?

http://scarletmist.com/ allow people to sell unwanted tickets for face value. Most of the sold out ticket sites sell the tickets for a lot more than face value. Ebay is probably the best best.Come on you Irons0

Thanks. It's my son that wants tickets. He's not bothered about paying over the odds for them. He just wants to be sure that they don't just take the money and then not send the tickets.
He's not very MSE0 -
ebay is your best bet, but wait until close to the gig/festival as people are pretty much giving them away then. I've seen Athlete for £5.50, Franz Ferdinand for £6, The Fray for £6 and got buy one get one free for the x-factor show last year because it was close to the gig and people couldn't go, so it can pay to wait for sure:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

If it is a big event you should look at seatwave or viagogo. The problem with ebay is, whilst the certainly are genuine sellers on there, there are also a lot of scammers.Gone ... or have I?0

Is Seatwave ok? He was planning on getting tickets from there but there were some bad reviews about it.
He did get tickets off ebay last time and was very lucky but his original tickets for that event which were ordered 3 months before it didn't arrive and we thought he'd been scammed. He did eventually get a refund though. The event is in Holland which makes it that much more difficult.0 -
I have used Stargreen before www.stargreen.com and they were very reliable.
I worked in Central London years ago, and they were around then... so they are well established!0 -
Apologies... have just read the part of your post that says the event is in Holland. I don't think that Stargreen would have tickets for overseas events.0

I used Seatwave to see prodigy had no proba and using a crowdity £25 voucher it was face value.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0

I have used seatwave to buy and sell tickets, and although expensive they are very good indeed.
Viagogo also seem good, as does getmein.
I'd be wary of ebay scammers; always check feedback. If they sell tickets regularly then chances are they're fine. I bought a front row Bob Dylan ticket off there for about £100 and it was absolutely fine.
