Massively cheap steam generator iron

How weird. Ive been searching these steam generator irons for the past 3 hours and then this thread appears. I did check the one above out at argos but its not available in my area. Also, i have been advised that the main thing to look for is the BAR pressure as this is what pushes the steam through the fabric so the higher the better. This doesn't state this on the Argos page. I have actually decided to go for this one finally:
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?jspStoreDir=argos&catalogId=10001¶ms=adref%3DKitchen+and+laundry-%3EIrons&productId=563420&referredURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.argos.co.uk%2Fwebapp%2Fwcs%2Fstores%2Fservlet%2FProductDisplay%3FstoreId%3D10001%26catalogId%3D10001%26productId%3D563420%26langId%3D-1&keyword=Breville+IR42+Steam+Generator.&langId=-1&referrer=FG13P&engine=froogle&storeId=10001
I know its expensive in comparison to other irons but this has a 3 Bar pressure which for the money is really good. Plus, at the moment Argos are doing the money off vouchers so will work out a little less.
Having said all that jaxxyoo's comment has scared the life out of me now! Buying it as a gift for my mum..lets hope she likes it!0 -
Sorry bubbles, didnt mean to scare you or anyone off them. Im sure your mum will like it, many people do. I just didnt and neither my mum or sisters.
The lady at the car boot though had one herself and was buying mine for her daughter. I just wanted people to be aware that they are not for everyone.0 -
I love my steam generator iron. It's quite an expensive one though. The right price is over £200 for the one I have (I didn't pay that though). You get what you pay for. I had a cheaper one and returned it - it was hopeless. My sister's one isn't as powerful as mine either.
You can't go much wrong with one for £19.99 though.0 -

How can you order it? It says on ther website that it must be picked up from a store - this item won't be delivered. I tried 5 stores within 50 miles of here and they're all out of stock.0
