Abundance of washing up liquid - any ideas?

I travel quite a lot, and long ago stopped carrying different types of detergent. Now I take one bottle of showergel which I like the smell of, and use it for shampoo, washing smalls, washing dishes and popping in the washing machine if the campsite or hotel has one. I have washed my hair in washing up liquid, as long as you use conditioner afterwards, it's fine. Don't overdo it in washing machines, cos foam can be an issue,
no more than a dessertspoonful, less if you like, I think we use too much anyway.
It really is all the same stuff, we don't really need to buy all the different bottles. All Art is the transfiguration of the commonplace

my other half uses value or any cheap washing up liquid for that matter as liquid hand wash,we just fill up an old carex bottle and leave it on the kitchen window ledge by the sink, saves my good stuff for doing the dishes0

Just caught a bit of 'How Clean is your House' and they made a thick paste out of bicarbonate of soda and washing up liquid, and used it to clean the gunk off an oven door - really softened it up and made it much easier to remove.
Just off to try it on my oven ........ not that mine is anything like the one they've just shown on TV, honest ..............(mine's probably worse !!)0 -
I actually ended up giving it to my mother in the end, but I've since discovered that mixing coarse sugar with it makes a great hand scrub - my boyfriend is a mountain bike mechanic and has constantly oiled/greased up hands so the home-made hand scrub makes a pseudo-swarfega0
