Help! What to buy OH Grandparents for Christmas?

Hi all,

Having a little difficulty this year working out what to buy the OH's grandparents for Christmas this year. Wouldn't usually worry about it to much but we are going to be spending Christmas at OH's parents and grandparents will be there too.
They are 80 and 84 and becoming quite housebound although they are very mentally alert. G Granny on internet, facebook, skype etc.
They have a lot of grandchildren and great grandchildren so a calendar is out as they will get a ton of them. Also G Granny is diabetic so we have to lay off the sweet stuff.
Really stuck, any suggestions appreciated!

I always struggle with the grandparents the most! If they are stuck in the house a lot I would try and think along the lines of things that will entertain them - maybe a magazine subscription, books/dvds - not sure if they would be into this but a few years ago got my gran a book on local history from the time when she was growing up and she really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. If his Granny is into the computer maybe some games to play on it, eg puzzle or logic games and you can generally get them really cheap.
