Because people keep posting to thank the op rather than just clicking the thanks button. Just a tip for anyone who doesn,t already know- if you click the thanks button, not only are you showing appreciation to the original poster, you are also keeping a record of any comps you have entered. If the thread gets bumped up to the top by saying thanks, it confuses matters and people enter again, thereby disqualifying themselves by entering twice.I,m so stupid that I forgot the mnemonic0
