Hi,
long time reader, first time poster here.
im looking for some help in relation to sorting out my payday debts and also cc debts. i have already made some basic steps thanks to this site, new bank account offering payment plans etc.
firstly quickquid who i owe around 600, i have offered to offer them a payment plan which they are saying i need to phone about , also from this site i know not to do this!, i was wondering if they accept a plan how to pay it? i dont want to give card/account details would they do standing order or is it best to let go to DCA?
wonga i owe around 1800 which was due today so i will be going down the same path with them so basically the same question applies?
next barclaycard, in my mind i have decided i need this to go to dca as i am currently 2000 balance failing to pay 45 per month and incurring charges, in effect i havent used the card for months but the balance hasnt moved, just wondered if this is the best route?
many thanks

Hi Messidebt
Welcome to the MSE DFW forum
A big well done on tackling your debts. I know its not easy and that first step is a really big one to take.
The first thing before anyone could properly advise further is to understand why you have got into debt in the first place by looking at your income and expenditure. This will help you understand why you were living on credit to start with and also help make a decision as to how to tackle your debts correctly (e.g. snowballing).
You can find a good statement of affairs calculator here:

You can then publish your info to the forum and people will be better informed to give you advice that is more correct for you.
