MSE News: OFT warns over misleading ads that cost consumers cash

Remember the Sun Newspaper doing the Sub's @ Dominos pizza, free voucher per day over 5 days...
I bought the paper, went to my Dominos and they said they have no subs left...
I questioned it, and the chap said he had no free subs left in relation to the voucher, but i could buy the same sub for £3.49 ???????
Now this was at 11:30am, the shop had been open 30 mins, and i was sat outside it for 15 of those mins on the phone, so watching only 2 customers walk in the shop before me, i find it hard that the free subs had gone already...... So the ploy to get me to the shop worked, i naturally left and bought food elsewhere, then wrote a letter of complaint to there HO (Dominos that is)....
As expected, a free voucher for any pizza, any size came through the post
