Court’s order of property transfer to a sole name after a divorce?

There was no interest in the property, that's way the trustee didn't try to sell.
I am a key worker and received a grant to buy the property. The mortgage at the time of buying was £80000 and is still the same as my ex pays only the interest.Actually the benefit agency pays it.
He hasn't paid a penny and of course would not agree of it being transferred to me, even though I am willing to pay the mortgage.
He's been living for free for the last 6 years and would not let it go.0 -

even if it was left to you after BR unless you have paperwork to show the OR has returned it to you or OH.
Have you got any paperwork at all if you have not. The OR will still have a claim on the land registry.0 -
Yes, I have a document from the trustee stating:
"I am enclosing a notice of disclaiming my interest(if any) in the existing lease of the property....I should make it clear that my interest is limited to your beneficial interest and that is therefore allI am able to disclaim-the legal interst remains with yourself and your ex-husband.You both remain as the registered proprietors."0 -
In that case, this is not really a bankruptcy question and so i can only suggest that you find someone who deals with that area of the law.Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
I wasn't sure that's the right board. Please recommend where to post as I have no idea!

Hi BB, I would contact one of the following:-
Citizens Advice Bureau - Website: Citizens Advice or visit your local CAB centre (find nearest) and ask to speak to a legal advisor.
