    Hi;

    Just to let you know, I bought an Acer 4021 WLMI (15" centrino) 8 months ago from Tescos. The paint came off the trackpad button and the hinge was pretty loose so I took it back the other day. I've seen similar reports on other websites.

    I have the same model - bought about 11 months ago from Tesco

    Never had an issue with it - slightly scratched but that's due to being carried into uni about 2-3 times a week. Ram upgrade was a breeze as well.

    It's cost me £522 for a Core 2 Duo with decent spec parts (only slightly disappointed with the shared graphics).

    I bought it using Comet gift vouchers (which I bought using Virgin Credit Card and got 13% discount).

    I think I got a decent deal for the money. Hope the build quality isn't going to let me down.
