Got the court date for voluntary br

Well, I finally did it!

I phoned the local County Court, which is 12 miles away from my home, and made an appointment to petition for voluntary bankruptcy. The date is Monday 20th November - so four weeks.

Apparently, at that court you see a Clerk of the Court who will go through the papers that I take with me, then the brief visit to the Judge to swear the affidavit, they then make the OR aware and I will get a phone call.

It is a relief just to have the date! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well done - the time will pass quicker than you imagine - then you can look forward to a fresh start.
I'm in the middle of finalising my forms at the moment.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
