Loan Help

Hi Guys,

i am looking forrward to get 10,000 loan in december/january , i am having a current account in abbey since july and i am running well since then ....

All i am concern regarding my credit history , i am not a defaulter or any thing just worried about that too many searches made on my file 2 months ago when i was trying to opening a newbank account and credit card...


so could you please tell me with only searches matter which company can offer me loan in my situation.

£10k is a large loan! As you've only had a bank account since July I wouldn't have thought it would be looking very positive.

You can try Abbey. It would be best to go in and discuss your financial status with them. It's going to depend on your salary and any other credit history you can provide. Are you a UK homeowner?

When you say "too many searches" how many are you talking about?

last month about 5 searches made on my file in one month , and i am private tenant ....and my annual salary is 21 k.

Okay then your best bet initially would be to go to your Abbey branch in December or January and go through your options with them. Five searches in a month is a lot, but some of them would have been with Abbey anyway for your bank account?

It's lack of credit history that is going to be the main factor here I would have thought. Are you on the electoral role? As that could automatically go against you. If you are not, do this before you try for the loan.

Before you sign up with anything, come back here and post the details first.

well all these searches is made my nationwide and capital one but not with the abbey, yes i am register on electoral since may this year ....
