Day 2 was much easier (for me at least). Note that when finding the album, tunetribe often lists more than one version of the same album so you have to check them all. In this case the album needed was actually the second listed for me when I searched for it.

I'm not having much luck - I thought the first clue was for 'Self Portrait' by Bob Dylan - because a)It's called Self Portrait b)Its badly painted - it's NOT. Which has completely stumped me! I wish all the questions were about rock, folk and jazz and I might be good at it!

You're wrong. :-P The first artist really doesn't need any more clues - it'll hit you like a freight train. The only thing I could say to help is that you're thinking of generation 1-2 times older than the artist in question.
