Kew Gardens annuaul membership costs £40 individual, and £60 joint (1st year only through direct debit - normal cost = £55 and £80).
Apart from being able to visit whenevery you want, the great value are the free guest tickets you get given - 6 with individual and 12 with joint membership - so if there is a group of you going to visit, it would cost much less to do an annual membership for one of the group and use the guest tickets. (eg a group of 10 people would pay £6 instead of £11.75)
Annual membership also includes 4 free kew garden magazines, entry to Wakehurst Place in Sussex and 15 other gardens throughout the country.
Kids under 17 are FREE, and there are tons of activities in holidays as well as a play area.
Discount in the Kew Garden shop = 5% , and there are also other member events throughout year.
This is worth it if you live within day-trip range of Kew or if you are planning a trip with a largish group.0 -
Thanks Mr Culater...
I hadn't figured interest lost into the bargain. More to muse over now!0 -
I am interested in joining the National Trust.Do you get free entry to all or only some of their places? The reason I ask is because when I looked at one of their membership books, it lists entry fees for many of the houses etc, with only some of them listed as free.0

That's what membership does - it gives you free entry ALL National Trust properties round the world0

For fans of italian food you can always join Caffe Uno http://caffeuno.co.uk sign up to their loyalty scheme and you'll get 15% off each time you eat. I'm sure there are more restaurants out there with similar deals. Try their websites!

Boots clubs are great, I joined the Parenting club free when I was pregnant and was part of that till my lil lad turned two then they cancel your membership, got loads of freebies and extra points. You don't need to prove your preganant so I joined again and got loads more freebies and extras. The vouchers that I don't want I just sell on ebay for 50p and 50p postage. The Boots health club is good as well, loads of discounts and extra points.0
