I have another UU Tesco facial cleansing wipes WIBIA yes! Great value at about 27p and if I have time cut them in half so last twice as long! lol I have quite a few to use first though before I buy anymore!
Took an order back to the Body Shop yesterday that was delayed in the snow. I had the receipt and the manager was adament that they could only refund the sales price, not the price I paid. I knew my rights and wouldn't back down. She was a dragon and called customer services only for them to tell her I was the get the full refund. It wasn't like I was trying to pull a fast one and didn't have a receipt. Anyway eventually got the refund but felt quite upset when I came out.
I took a body scrub back that I had paid full price for as it had no oil in it so was just like sand!I had called bS up and they said take it to the shop as I was going to town that day. When I went it they too only wanted to give me the sale price so i insisted they called the manager who reluctantly called the office but even then they would only swop me stuff to the value I paid and not give a refund!!!!....said they were a franchise so did not have to do what the office said:mad::mad::mad:

Did you have a receipt or proof of purchase?

Mind you if the product is faulty doesn't that come under the Sales of Goods Act and you should be able to get a refund even if you haven't got a receipt?

My bodyshop order's have arrived hurrah, can't wait to pick them up and open them...no IN's to count htough because I listed them in my inventory :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

    good afternoon!
A long time lurker and very occasional poster!
Have been following the thread, and challenge since around last summer, and have been mostly well behaved, I have my face care stash to one in use, and only one in stash, amazing!
I was lucky to get lots of lovely christmas presents from friends and family, all lovely smellies to use up, so no need to shop for any for ages yet, I will need to buy a foundation soon tho, maybe in about two weeks, that means a tempting trip to boots.........
A little extra time off work this week has given me chance for lots of lovely pampering and use ups, matrix shampoo and conditioner, thats been around for ages, not sure of the cost, and wouldnt go out of my way to get it again, it was ok, but thats all, a lovely mini boots royal jelly body lotion, that was lovely!! smells gorgeous, leaves the skin nice, Avon bubble bath, candy or something like that, again lovely, but no need to buy more yet, and anyway I have asked my hubby and children to hide the avon book when it comes through the door:rotfl:
Am looking forward to following the challenge for jan 11!
A little extra goal for me, KEEP AWAY FROM THE POUND SHOPS!! MOSTLY!!

  • Just Spotted this on Grabbit:

    Free Clinique Mascara

Take your old mascara to Debenhams 17-30 January and you'll receive free deluxe mascara.

I missed out on the similar offer at Boots recently and so will make a note of these dates in my diary.

  • A couple of UU's Boots No 7 Eye cream duo - to be honest this was a part use up and throw away as the day gel stuff I had used up and I then thought I would use the night cream up during the day but as I have had it for a couple of years it has either gone off or I am allergic as it made my right eye puff up and go all red on the eyelid (attractive I know!) so in the bin it went!

Nice and Easy blonde gloss conditioner this was from a colour kit that my daughter had so I used it up! Must admit it is a good conditioner!

Molton Brown shower gel sample - I love MB but the price is not MSE!

Think thats it this year! Wishing you all a Happy MSE 2011! x

I had the receipt that came in the post with it but for some reason the price was not on it and the store till showed a cheaper price than I paid which they were told when they eventually called the office but still refused a refund!!!

R54 - I'd email head office. This is a sale of goods act thing - not fit for purpose nor as described - and not a changed my mind thing. Really not good enough. Sounds like Body Shop are toughening up and not sticking to consumer rights.
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Less things. Less stuff. More life.
