they are £199 on the MS store but through quidco it's 9% cashback so that brings a fair chunk off the price0

Bit of a hassle though, and what if there was something wrong with it? Probably cost a bit to send it back
The Amazon UK deal looks the best one, especially if one of the free games is one you want.
I can vouch for the free HDMI cable Amazon are giving for free with the console, I have one and it is as good as one costing 3 or 4 times the price.0 -

If you just want the Xbox 360 console (without kinect), then Amazon have the best current deal as mentioned above
http://amzn.to/dFI7eO
But if you are looking for a Kinect deal Amazon are as good as anyone else at the moment, they are offering an Xbox 360 250gb & Kinect for £299.98 and you can add a Kinect game for an extra £20, which is a decent offer. Saves you over £40 compared to buying the console, kinect & game separately.

Other retailers may have other offers in the lead-up to christmas but currently the Amazon one is the best.
In terms of whatever else you might need, the console comes with one wireless controller and includes all of the cables etc you will need, with the exception of a HDMI cable (if you have a HD ready tv).
The kinect doesn't need any controllers
Only you, or whoever will use it can answer the question about which games.0 -

Try Argos, xbox 250gb with kinnects is £299.98 but you can add Fifa 11, Forza 3 and 2packs of 3 games for £74.97 I think all in all you save about £175.00
i got one last wekend but had to travel to get it. lol 100 mile round trip.
Very rare to get as you need to get all items in the one store or all together for delivery.
Typical argos they have the consols for delivery but not in shops and have the games etc in shops not for delivery lol
