  • Client Robinson Way obo HSBC....£9289.21:eek:

btw...this is for the previous owner of my house..I've been here over 6.5 years...I know you are not SUPPOSED to open other peoples letters...but I think after I have lived here this long.....I'll open whatever comes through my letterbox....I shouldn't be getting them any more!

Anyway, I've said in another post that I've never heard of 'this debt' before.....plenty of others though:eek: If I ever get my hands on this bloke!

This is a red letter from Westcot....I haven't got round to replying to the other one a couple of weeks ago............I am sure I have a letter from Westcot from last year assuring me that they had changed their records.....another account admittedly...but same name/address etc.......do they not cross check???...........don't be stupid Chris...what ARE you thinking!

I've just had a thought.....(I know..they don't come often...:o )...but I am sooooo tempted to send this notice back with a note to wipe their !!!! on it? What do you think? I have no shame....I'll keep a copy of the 'ruined'...notice along with my snotty letter.........:D Trust me...the mood I am in at this precise moment in time...they will be lucky this isn't attached to a cocktail of sorts:eek:
  • I used to work for Robinson Way, they are part of the London Scottish group and they have door to door collections on debts and when you have nearly paid off your debt if you have been a regular payer they will offer you a loan at 45%+APR to be collected by the same agent who collected the debt payments, when the loan is halfway through they will offer a reloan which pays off your balance and leaves you a bit left over which gives them a second lot of interest on the same money! The loan will be in the name of London Scottish. When we had people we couldn't trace ie; people who ignored the original letter so you went to the door and were told:
    this is not me
I don't know anything about this debt etc,
It would be returned to the original company as untracable. Those who accepted the debt would agree an amount with the company and this amount could be collected weekly at the door or customer could post to the local office.
