I really need some advice my previous employment I left as I was being bullied. I was working for 4.83 hr and I'm fully qualified in the job I do. Other girls younger then me who wernt qualified were on alot more money then me. My nan sadly passed away and I was not allowed the time of to go visit in the Chappell of rest so I didn't get to go I just wrote a letter and quit I know this is not profession but I hated it so much. I have found a new job and I did a days trial and I loved it I or offered the Job providing my refs are good my personal one was brilliant but I'm worried about my previous work one
I know it won't be good. I have other written refs from jobs that are excellent

If you've not given them the reference details yet I would give them the details of one of your other employers who will give a good reference.
If they say it must be from your previous employer then you can either explain the situation to the new employer or hope that the previous employer will just list the dates you were employed there.
If the job offer is removed because of a bad reference I'd be straight on the phone to them explaining the situation and offer the details of any other people who can give you a good reference.
good luck!Debt: Started at £4780, now at £4190
Comp Wins 2014: None yet

You may find this isn't a big deal. Work references these days can often be very bland, just stating you worked for them, in what role and the time period.
I think people (certainly the big companies I've worked for) have moved away from giving proper references to remove any chance of the new employer or the old employee coming back to them with a grievance that they were wrong.0 -
Thank you for the advice I feel happier now

This certainly CAN be the case but it is not universal by any means. I suspect it may be more common in some fields of work than others.
In my former line full references were the norm and somebody coming from a different field, with only the type of reference you describe, could be at a disadvantage.0
