Failure to pay

I have had a mortgage mis-selling complaint 100% upheld by Sun Alliance and have agreed the figures with them.
However the policy has now been matured for 10 days and they have paid neither the compensation nor the proceeds of the policy. They are, in fact, becoming increasingly uncooperative, obstructive and plain rude.
At what point should I simply report them to the FO / FSA? I am certain if I did so it would result in a large fine for them, as they have failed to properly administer accounts such as mine consistently for 25 years.

Is this regarding an endowment?0

Yes. It is.0

Firstly, ten days isn't all that long (FOS would normally expect firms to pay compensation within 4 weeks-ish of receiving an acceptance form).
Secondly, is the policy still assigned to a lender? If you took it out 25 years ago, it might still be assigned to your very first lender, and you'll need a letter of no further interest from them.
Have you called the policy provider and asked what the delay is?0 -
All the documents are correct. Apparently, I now have to wait for my payment request to get to the top of their pile.
My original claim was made in January this year and the actual policy has now matured and has not been paid.0 -

Not an exceptional situation.
I would imagine that busy people with lots to do, would become tired of repeated harrassment. This I would assume to be the case. However the policy has now been matured for 10 days and they have paid neither the compensation nor the proceeds of the policy.
