You can get those adapters plenty of places. For advice, head itno Maplins at Connswater. You can also get multi-function adapters, possibly in argos. You just need the old one to get the voltage and polarity. If you're confident of this then do it yourself, if nervous then take it to Maplins or somewhere similarNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Big cammy, had a look on Maplin's web site as I am in work....it says on the plug
AC ADAPTOR
MODEL YH -1210
PRI 230V -240V
SEC 12V -830MA
Does this make any sense to anyone ? have been googling all morning hoping i could get one online.....0 -
Does the adaptor say if the output is AC or DC? Sometimes it'll show either a flat or dotted line for DC and a sine wave symbol for AC, or else simply 12V DC output in writingNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Here's the sort of thing you need: -

It's the output that's important, you need it. Most are DC, plus Argos have a good returns policy so you can get a refund if necessaryNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Got the adaptor from Argos and it lit up for 10 mins and then blew the adaptor, so its a fault other than the adaptor , but thanks (bigcammy) anyway.............
